BTN Analyst Gerry DiNardo has one team that he believes is on the same level as No. 3 Ohio State in terms of its execution on the field. That team is the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

The Gophers are 4-0, 1-0 in B1G play, and they have looked every bit of one of the best teams in the B1G. Minnesota had a relatively easy nonconference schedule to begin, but in years past the team had struggled to put away teams it should blow out.

This past Saturday afternoon the Gophers showed their might against a B1G East foe. Minnesota is coming off of an impressive win where it went into East Lansing and blew the doors off Michigan State winning 34-7.

Minnesota had over 500 yards of offense in the win over Michigan State.

If the Gophers can get past their two rivals in the B1G West – Iowa and Wisconsin – they might be rowing their boat all the way down to Indianapolis with a date against one of the B1G’s best from the East.
