The Tanner Morgan to Daniel Jackson connection is strong in the Liberty Bowl!

Jackson caught and ran with his 2nd touchdown of the day at the end of the 3rd quarter. He caught a shallow pass from Morgan and took it the remainder of the distance, breaking tackles for a 25-yard touchdown.

Minnesota has now broken this game open, leading 28-13 over Syracuse with 15 minutes and 35 seconds remaining.

Jackson is now up to 4 receptions for 73 yards and 2 touchdowns on the afternoon.

Minnesota looked to be in trouble to start the 2nd half. Syracuse was inching back into things before Coleman Bryson put a stop to it. He stepped in front of Garrett Shrader’s pass and returned it the distance, 70 yards for a pick 6.

Minnesota is looking good on its way to a 9-4 season. Can they hold on for the final 15 minutes?
