Former Gophers RB among over 30 NFL scouts in attendance for Ohio State-Minnesota game
Minnesota is the center of the B1G tonight as they host defending conference champion Ohio State. It looks like there’s going to be a ton of NFL scouts on hand for the B1G clash.
There’s going to be 30 NFL scouts in the building, including former Minnesota running back David Cobb, according to The Pioneer Press’ Andy Greder.
Note: Former #Gophers running back David Cobb is among the 30-plus #NFL scouts and front-office personnel at Huntington Bank Stadium on Thursday. Cobb became a scouting assistant with the Carolina Panthers in March.

Cobb was a second-team All-B1G selection in 2014.
Ohio State went 7-1 last season, knocking off Northwestern for the B1G title and Clemson in the College Football Playoff semis, before falling to Alabama in the national championship game. Minnesota is coming off a 3-4 record in the shortened 2020 season after going 11-2 in 2019.
Ohio State leads the all-time series 45-7 vs Minnesota and is on a 10-game winning streak in the series.
