Ex-Minnesota receiver Dylan Wright posted about what team he’ll be playing for in 2023. Wright play for the Golden Gophers from 2021-2022.

Wright appeared in 21 games for Minnesota over the past two seasons. He compiled 645 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns during his time there. Wright’s college career originally started at Texas A&M. Wright didn’t stay in College Station long, transferring after spending 2019-2020 with the Aggies.

On Sunday Wright posted that he will be joining Sonny Dykes at TCU, with the wideout calling Fort Worth home.

Wright was a former 4-star WR prospect out of Mesquite, Texas from the 2019 class per the 247Sports Composite. Minnesota, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State, Purdue, Illinois, and Indiana were the B1G schools that sent Wright an offer.

Wright has good size for a wideout, coming in at 6-foot-4, 210 pounds.

He will be joining what was an impressive offense in 2022 down in Fort Worth. The Horned Frogs averaged 455 total offensive yards per game last season, which was the third-most in the Big 12.  TCU also led the Big 12 in points scored per game with 38.8.

It’ll be interesting to see how Wright will fit into Dykes’ offense now that QB Max Duggan and WR Quentin Johnston have declared for the 2023 NFL Draft. Stay tuned for more updates.
