Gophers land commitment from ex-Notre Dame DT
Minnesota has landed its second transfer player this week.
Tuesday morning, Ryan Burns of 247Sports reported that Micah Dew-Treadway gave his commitment to the Gophers. He took a visit to Minneapolis over the weekend and has given his pledge just a few days later.
Dew-Treadway also posted a photo and short message on Twitter, announcing his commitment.

Dew-Treadway is the second player the Gophers have landed in the last three days thanks to transfer. USC receiver Randal Grimes also committed to Minnesota on Sunday.
Both players were in Dinkytown over the weekend.
Over the last two seasons with Notre Dame, Dew-Treadway has appeared in 20 games. This year, he made two tackles while participating in 11 games. He’s expected to be available for spring workouts.
Minnesota has the 38th ranked recruiting class of 2019, which also falls ninth in the B1G. Those rankings don’t include the addition of Grimes or Dew-Treadway.
