Gophers WR hits transfer portal after 3 seasons
A Minnesota wide receiver has decided to take his college football career elsewhere.
Peter Udoibok, a native of St. Paul, has reportedly entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal. Andy Greder of the Pioneer Press reported the news on Monday morning.
Udoibok was a walk-on receiver for the Golden Gophers and was a member of the team’s 2019 recruiting class. He did not see any game action during his three seasons with the program.

As a high school recruit, Udoibok was a 3-star prospect. He ranked as one of the Top 200 receivers for the 2019 class and was considered the No. 8 player out of Minnesota.
Because he did not see any game action and with the NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver for the 2020 season, Udoibok will still have three years of eligibility to use at his next stop.
Udoibok received offers from seven programs out of high school. He picked Minnesota over Air Force, North Dakota State, Northern Iowa, Rice, South Dakota State, Wyoming and Yale.
