Kirk Ciarrocca lost one of his offenses best weapons for the season against Colorado on Saturday. Now, the offense will need to regroup per Ryan Burns of 247Sports.

Chris Autman-Bell went down with a season-ending lower leg injury against the Buffaloes. The team will need to move forward with Michigan State up next.

Autman-Bell had 214 yards receiving and 1 touchdown through the first three games of the season before his year was cut short. Ciarrocca knows that in order to replace the production that he brought to the team, his offense as a whole must improve.

Losing him hurts, obviously. We told the guys that we can’t all replace the things he brought to the team. One guy can’t replace him, but if everybody gets a little bit better, that’s how we have to replace them. Everybody has to get better, and everybody has to carry the load. And I’m not just talking about just what he brought to the team as far as his physical skills, but his leadership, his toughness and example that he set for the whole team. We’re gonna miss it. But we’re playing on Saturday, right? And we’re expected that we need to play well.

Minnesota fans will get to see how the team adjusts to Autman-Bell not being in the lineup on Saturday against Michigan State.
