Local sportscaster received hand-written letter from every Minnesota football player following wife's passing
The Minnesota football team is showing unity and support for a local sportscaster who is dealing with the death of his wife.
KFAN’s Mark Rosen lost his wife in late August to brain cancer. On September 20, every player from Minnesota sent Rosen a hand-written letter.
Rosen shared the touching tributes on his Twitter account:
So I find these on my desk at @KFAN1003 upon my return today, handwritten notes of condolences from every Gopher football player including a very personal one from QB Tanner Morgan who lost his Dad to brain cancer recently. #classy pic.twitter.com/w7DjVEP0E3

My heart is aching. My beautiful wife, Denise passed peacefully from Glioblastoma. She didn’t “lose” her battle with Brain Cancer, she lived her life to the fullest for the past 3 years. My eternal thanks to the Givens Brain Tumor Center and the Little Hospice House. Love, Mark pic.twitter.com/jFXoB0oEFL

Rosen is grateful for the outpouring of support across social media in this difficult time.
“It meant so much to me and my kids, in particular, that people, who I’ve never met and maybe will never meet, reached out and sincerely offered their condolences and their good feelings,” Rosen said via Barrett Sports Media.
