As everyone knows, not all high school football prospects are created equal.

Some are five-star prospects, some are four-stars. Some get zero stars and don’t even appear in certain recruiting website’s databases.

Clay Geary, a junior wide receiver at Minnesota, doesn’t have a rating on 247Sports back when he was a product of the Class of 2016. No picture, either.

However, that didn’t stop him from walking on at Minnesota. Over the course of his Golden Gopher career to this point, Geary has played in nine career games.

Any game he appears in from this point forward, though, it will be a bit different.

Geary is now on a scholarship at Minnesota and was surprised with the news at a Minnesota Twins game.
