Minnesota continues to row toward a top-10 recruiting class for 2023 with another addition on Monday.

This time, the commitment comes from Tyler Brown, a wide receiver out of Greenville, South Carolina. Brown had drawn offers from Gardner Webb, Jacksonville State, Bryant and East Tennessee State among others.

Brown is listed at 5-foot-11 and 170 lbs. He has gone unrated by the composite rankings but produced a 1,000-yard season with 15 touchdowns during 2021 as a junior.

The Gophers are really rolling on the recruiting trail under P.J. Fleck’s staff for the class of 2023. Brown becomes Minnesota’s 18th commitment with that group earning the No. 10 spot on the team rankings.

10 of Minnesota’s current pledges come from the offensive side of the ball. Brown joins 3-star prospect Donielle Hayes out of Florida as receivers to commit to the Gophers in the 2023 cycle.
