Minnesota announced the dates and information for three open practices in August during the fall camp.

The dates for the three open practices are Saturday, Aug. 6, Thursday, Aug. 11, and Monday, Aug. 15. Fans are invited to attend all three practices and see the Golden Gophers get ready for the upcoming season.

The public can attend all three of these practices for free. Saturday’s open practice will be held at Huntington Bank Stadium at 2:15 p.m. CST. The open practice on Aug. 11 will also take place at Huntington Bank Stadium and the time will be 7:45 p.m. CST. The final open practice on Aug. 15 will be held at the Athletes Village at 4:15 p.m. CST.

This will be an opportunity for fans to see the roster that will take the field at the start of the season. The season will begin at home on Thursday, Sept. 1 against New Mexico State. That game will be the next time fans can see Minnesota play after the three open practices.

The Golden Gophers will be looking to build upon a successful season in 2021. Minnesota finished last season with a 9-4 overall record and a win over West Virginia in the 2021 Guaranteed Rate Bowl. Head coach P.J. Fleck enters his 6th season at Minnesota.
