Minnesota defense holds strong on key goal line stand
Minnesota had a big-time defensive stop against Nebraska towards the end of the 3rd quarter.
The Golden Gophers stuffed the Cornhuskers on 4th down from inside the 1-yard line as Nebraska couldn’t punch it in off a running play.

This play was after the 3rd down controversy where quarterback Adrian Martinez took it down to just shy of the goal line. Cornhuskers fans were sure that he got in, but he was ruled down short of the pylon.
Nebraska is trying to get back to .500 after last Saturday’s devastating loss to Michigan, while a win for the Golden Gophers would get them to 4-2.
The game is currently halfway through the 4th quarter and is shaping up to be quite the finish. It’s currently being televised by the Big Ten Network.
