Minnesota Golden Gopher and former Division 2 standout Parker Fox exited Monday’s summer practice with a right knee injury, putting a second straight season in jeopardy for the Northern State transfer.

“It was just a normal play. It was in a crowd. It’s just unfortunately one of those things that comes with playing. We’ll support him until we find out further information and obviously hope for the best for him and figure out where we go from there once we get the right info,” head coach Ben Johnson said via Fox 9 KMSP

Fox has yet to play a minute of Division 1 basketball since transferring in 2021. He suffered a left knee injury that ruled him out all of last season.

All signs point to Fox being a potential starter for the Golden Gophers this season. As of now, the timetable for his return from injury is unknown.
