Minnesota has a 13-0 lead over Colorado late in the first half.

The Golden Gophers’ defense has dominated this game, but their offense has been solid as well. Running back Treyson Potts scored both of Minnesota’s touchdowns in the first half.

Here’s his first score of the game:

He’d later tack on another to push Minnesota’s lead to 13-0. Potts has been getting a majority of Minnesota’s rushing attempts since Mo Ibrahim suffered a season-ending injury in Week 1 vs. Ohio State.

Potts has 88 yards and those 2 scores on 17 carries at halftime.

Colorado’s offense produced five total yards in the first half.

This is an impressive start for Minnesota, especially coming off a disappointing performance in Week 2. The Gophers narrowly escaped with a win at home vs Miami (OH) last week.

Meanwhile, Colorado is coming off a near-upset of Texas A&M last week. The Buffs led the Aggies for most of that game before losing the lead late.

Minnesota is trying to improve to 2-1 on the season.
