Minnesota has made the cut for Clemson transfer guard Nick Honor, who has trimmed his list down to three options.

CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein reported that Honor has narrowed his list of options down to three schools: Minnesota, Missouri and SMU.

Honor, a 5-foot-10 guard out of Orlando, spent three seasons at Clemson before deciding to enter the NCAA transfer portal. He initially started his career at Fordham, where he spent the 2018-19 season before heading to Clemson.

Over the last two seasons with the Tigers, Honor played in 57 games with 35 starts. He averaged 7.9 points and 2.3 assists per game during that stretch. During the 2021-22 season, Honor averaged 7.7 points and 2.4 assists.

In his lone year at Fordham, Honor posted 15.3 points, 3 assists and 2.4 rebounds per contest. He started in all 32 games he played in for the Rams.

Minnesota is looking to add depth and experience at the guard position this offseason.
