Minnesota has its quarterback for the class of 2024.

The Golden Gophers earned a commitment from quarterback Drake Lindsey on Friday afternoon.

Here’s his announcement:

Lindsey also had offers from programs such as Colorado State, UNLV and Tulsa. The Gophers initially offered him a scholarship earlier this month.

He does not currently have a 247Sports Composite rating. However, that could change in the coming weeks as more scouts are able to evaluate his game over the offseason. He’s the No. 51 quarterback in the class, per 247Sports.

Lindsey attends Fayetteville High School in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He’s listed at 6-foot-5, 220 pounds.
