Minnesota has officially landed a transfer wide receiver from Texas A&M.

Dylan Wright announced his commitment to the Badgers earlier today via his Twitter page:

Wright hasn’t had a lot of playing time with the Aggies but he was highly recruited coming out of high school. He was in the class of 2019 and per his 247Sports page, he was a four-star prospect. He was the 70th ranked player in the country at the time and the 12th best receiver in the nation.

He has four years of eligibility left for the Golden Gophers as the 2020 season didn’t count towards it. Wright had nearly 40 offers out of high school, some of them coming from the likes of Alabama, Ohio State, Florida, Georgia, and Oklahoma.

Even though Wright only played in four games with the Aggies this season, this is still a very talented receiver and he’ll get his chance to prove that with Minnesota.
