A Minnesota commit has decided to reopen his recruitment as Signing Day approaches in a month. Florida pass rusher Jack Pyburn, a 3-star prospect, announced the decision on his Twitter account.
Pyburn received an offer from Miami two days ago, so the Hurricanes could emerge as the prime candidate for his services.

“After much Prayer, thought and consideration with my Family and close mentors I have decided it is in my best interest at this time to Decommit from the University of Minnesota and explore all of my options in the next month and make sure I am making the right decision for me,” Pyburn said via his statement. “With that being said my recruitment is now 100% open to all schools.”
The 6-foot-3, 255-pound Pyburn is rated as the nation’s No. 63 edge rusher and the No. 152 prospect from Florida in the Class of 2022.
Minnesota’s Class of 2022 is currently ranked 42nd nationally and 10th in the B1G.
