Minnesota is taking on West Virginia in a B1G after dark showdown in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl on Tuesday night from Chase Field in Phoenix, AZ. Minnesota has already started to pull out the bag of tricks in the game.

Minnesota lined up OL Daniel Faalele in the FB position and then handed him the ball, and he rumbled into the end zone to give Minnesota the lead.

This season, the Golden Gophers were 8-4 and 6-3 in B1G play. They were just shy of winning the B1G West and going to Indianapolis for the B1G Championship game.

The Mountaineers were 6-6 and 4-5 this season. They finished 6th in the Big 12 this season.
