The list of players deciding to skip the 2018 college football postseason continues to grow.

Minnesota left tackle Donnell Greene has recently undergone meniscus surgery and has reportedly signed with an agent, according to the Pioneer Press. That means that Greene will not be permitted to participate in the Gophers’ Quick Lane Bowl game against Georgia Tech.

Greene is hoping to become the first Minnesota offensive lineman drafted since 2006.

Greene appeared in 11 games for the Gophers in 2018, making 10 starts. He played in 35 career games while in Minneapolis. The one game he missed was Minnesota’s 55-31 loss to Illinois on Nov. 3.

Prior to attending Minnesota, Greene attended Coffeyville Community College.

Minnesota earned bowl eligibility by winning two of its final three games this season, defeating Purdue and Wisconsin in the last three weeks. The lone loss in that stretch was to Northwestern.

The Gophers will take on Georgia Tech in the Quick Lane Bowl on Dec. 26.
