Minnesota redshirt junior offensive lineman Quinn Oseland has decided to transfer from Minnesota and will head to the West Coast to finish his college career.

According to Oseland’s Instagram account, he will transfer to San Jose State. He had been a member of the Gophers’ program since the 2015 season.

Oseland did not see much playing time in 2018, appearing in just two games.

During his career at Minnesota, Oseland appeared in eight games, starting in two. He appeared in three games for the Gophers in 2016 as a redshirt freshman.

Most of Oseland’s playing time came in the 2017 season. He competed in eight games and made two starts along the offensive line. His two starts came against Middle Tennessee and Nebraska.

This season, Oseland appeared in Minnesota’s wins over New Mexico State and Purdue.

Minnesota finished the season 6-6. The Gophers will play Georgia Tech in the Quick Lane Bowl on Dec. 26.
