Minnesota starting WR to miss second striaght game
The Minnesota Golden Gophers (4-2; 2-1 in B1G play) are set for a big matchup this Saturday as they host the Maryland Terrapins (4-2; 1-2 in BIG play).
Minnesota will be without one of their offensive weapons in Daniel Jackson, who will miss his consecutive game with an undisclosed injury. He was considered questionable for the game versus Nebraska on Monday.
Note: #Gopehrs receiver Daniel Jackson is out for a second straight game against Maryland on Saturday. He was first out against Nebraska with an undisclosed injury, and PJ Fleck called him “questionable” on Monday.

He missed last week’s 30-23 win at home versus Nebraska as Minnesota was more aggressive in the run game. Minnesota will be facing a Maryland defense that allows an average of 260.8 passing yards per game. Other receivers will continue to step up in the absence of Jackson.
In five games this season, Jackson has caught 14 receptions for 155 yards and one touchdown for Minnesota.
