Minnesota unveils uniform combination for showdown vs. Nebraska
Minnesota is looking to get back to work off of a bye week, and the Gophers will don some nice threads for Week 7 vs. Nebraska.
It has been an up-and-down season for PJ Fleck’s squad, to say the least. The Gophers opened the season with a loss to Ohio State that included a season-ending injury to Mo Ibrahim. Since then, Minnesota has lost to Bowling Green and saw Trey Potts – Ibrahim’s replacement – be lost for the season with an injury.
The good news is despite all the injuries and issues, Minnesota is still 3-2 on the season and has a solid path forward toward bowl eligibility. A win against Nebraska would be a big boost to six wins, and Fleck is 3-1 all-time against the Huskers.
On Saturday, Minnesota will also break out its “Goldy Gopher” helmets for the B1G West showdown. The Gophers round out the look with all-maroon pants and jerseys.
