Minnesota unveils uniform combination for Week 3 contest

Minnesota has unveiled its uniform combination for its Week 3 matchup as the Gophers host Colorado. Minnesota will be wearing the maroon jerseys and pants in its third home game of the 2022 season.

This will be the fifth all-time matchup between Minnesota and Colorado as the Buffaloes lead the series 3-1.
Last year, Minnesota defeated Colorado on the road 30-0 as the defense of Minnesota only allowed 63 total yards from Colorado. The defense of accounted for 4 sacks and 8 tackles for loss in that win. Running back Trey Potts led the Gophers while rushing for 121 yards and 3 touchdowns on 26 carries.
This game will be the first time this season that Minnesota is facing a Power-5 team as the Gophers defeated New Mexico State 38-0 in Week 1 and Western Illinois 62-10 last week. Minnesota is currently a 27.5-point favorite over Colorado, according to FanDuel.
