Minnesota is one of a handful of teams honoring the military this weekend with the Gophers’ annual Salute to Service Members game in Week 11. That matchup will be against Northwestern.

For the game, the Gophers will roll with a mostly traditional uniform look with a minor tweak. The jersey will be the traditional maroon with white letters and numbers outlined in gold.

The helmet will be a bit of a non-traditional look for Minnesota. It will be a white helmet with the traditional “M” logo in maroon chrome and gold detailing.

As for the play on the field, Minnesota is looking to keep its resurgence flowing toward the end of the season. A win against Northwestern would give the Gophers 3 straight since their October losing streak.

Minnesota has 2 straight in the series against the Wildcats, including a 41-14 blowout in Evanston last season.
