Minnesota wide receiver Rashod Bateman has finally earned a spot on the Biletnikoff Award Watch List following an impressive five-game stretch to begin the season. Bateman was added on Wednesday morning.

Bateman currently leads the B1G in receiving yards per game, posting an average of 107 yards per contest. He also has the highest yards per catch average at 23.35 through five games.

He’s also made a number of impressive catches throughout the season.

Total, Bateman has hauled in 23 receptions for 537 yards and four touchdowns. He’s on pace to shatter the marks he posted last year, when he totaled 51 catches for 704 yards and six scores.

Bateman’s top performance of the year came in a 38-31 road victory against Purdue to begin B1G play. He recorded a career-best 177 yards and two touchdowns on 6 receptions. It’s the second time he’s registered 175 yards or more in a game, doing it last season against Illinois, as well.

Already, Bateman has eclipsed the 100-yard mark three times this season.
