Minnesota’s offense is losing another player to transfer.
Saturday afternoon, wide receiver Douglas Emilien announced on Twitter he will be entering his name into the NCAA transfer portal. He’s the second offensive player in two days to make the announcement, along with running back Mar’Keise Irving.
Emilien spent two seasons with the Golden Gophers and was a member of the 2020 recruiting class. Because of the NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver for the 2020 season and Emilien using his redshirt season in 2021, he’ll have all four years of eligibility remaining.

Over his two seasons in the Twin Cities, Emilien played in two games, both coming in 2021. He was an Academic All-B1G selection at the conclusion of last season.
The Florida native was ranked as a 3-star recruit out of high school and received nearly two dozen offers on the recruiting front.
