What Minnesota's P.J. Fleck said at weekly press conference
Year 2 of the P.J. Fleck era got off on the right foot in Week 1, as Minnesota cruised past New Mexico State in a 48-10 to start the season.
The Gophers showed good offensive balance in the win and true freshman quarterback Zack Annexstad was (nearly) mistake free, throwing for 220 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions in the game.
Minnesota now gears up for a Week 2 matchup against Fresno State. Here’s what Fleck said at his weekly press conference:
"I think we started a bit slow, but we got into a rhythm." Fleck, on the offensive line against New Mexico State.
