P.J. Fleck gives update on Minnesota WR Chris Autman-Bell for showdown vs. Iowa
After getting upset by Illinois, Minnesota now moves on to face No. 22 Iowa.
The Golden Gophers offense struggled against the Fighting Illini, throwing two interceptions and were held to 289 total yards. Luckily for them it looks like they may still be with one of their key offensive weapons after an injury scare.
Wide receiver Chris Autman-Bell had a really big fall during the third quarter of the game after a hard hit and didn’t return. Autman-Bell’s only contribution offensively was a single reception for 24 yards before the injury.
Minnesota head coach P.J. Fleck is confident that Autman-Bell will still suit up for the Iowa game however.

Autman-Bell is currently second on the team in receiving yards with 300 yards and two touchdowns. We’ll see how much of a difference his presence makes for the Golden Gophers.
