The Minnesota Golden Gophers are looking like the team to beat in the B1G West this fall. The Gophers are 3-0 to start the year and defeated Colorado 49-7 Saturday to round out their 3-0 start in non-conference play.

P.J. Fleck had this to say about his football team after the win:

Fleck is a wild card in press conferences and you’ll always want to hear what euphuisms he will bring to talk about his football team.

Running back Mohamed Ibrahim was the player who broke off that big run with his linemen pushing him into the end zone. Ibrahim carried the rock 23 times for 202 yards and 3 touchdowns on the day.

Minnesota has had a relatively easy schedule to this point defeating New Mexico State, Western Illinois and Colorado. None of their opponents have scored more than 10 points.

The Gophers will have their first test this week as they hit the road to take on No. 11 Michigan State in East Lansing at 3:30 ET on BTN.
