PJ Fleck pays respect to former assistant Mike Hart following recent medical emergency
P.J. Fleck wanted to send a message out to everyone at Michigan after hearing about what happened to assistant coach Mike Hart. His quotes from a recent press conference were released by 247Sports’ Ryan Burns.
Hart was an assistant coach on Fleck’s staff at Western Michigan from 2014-2015. Hart had to be carted off the field against Indiana after collapsing on Michigan’s sideline during a commercial break.
Fleck offered some kind words about Hart. Some things are bigger than college football.
I just want to send all of our thoughts and prayers out to Michigan family. I talked to Coach Harbaugh this morning, sent all of our prayers and thoughts to Mike Hart and his entire family and the Wolverine family and everybody who witnessed an experience that can be really, really difficult. Mike Hart worked for us and he’s a wonderful human being, wonderful coach, and a wonderful person. And as Coach Harbaugh said, it puts things in perspective real quick, so I just want to make sure he knows I talked to Coach Harbaugh this morning and just let everybody know that our Gopher family is thinking about there’s.
