Hopefully the injury won’t be longterm because Morgan is heading into his final year of eligibility this season. Morgan has 1,143 yards passing with 10 total touchdowns and 4 interceptions this season.
The Golden Gophers are now 4-2 with losses to the Fighting Illini and Purdue. Minnesota lost to Purdue 20-10 at home in Week 5.
We’ll see if any more updates about Morgan’s status come out before the team’s next game against Penn State on Oct. 22.
