It’s probably safe to say Rashod Bateman just added a big boost to his draft stock!

The star receiver out of Minnesota is making the jump to the NFL this year after finishing his junior year with the Gophers. After finishing his career with over 2,000 yards and almost 20 touchdowns, Bateman is an intriguing prospect for the 2021 NFL Draft.

For his draft training, Bateman has been working with EXOS, a program that is also simulating the traditional NFL Combine workouts this weekend. Without a normal combine, it is one way for EXOS to help their clients add the experience of the workouts with teams ahead of the draft.

On Saturday, Bateman also revealed an impressive time in the 40-yard dash. On his personal Twitter page, Bateman revealed he ran a 4.37 hand time and a 4.39 laser time, putting him under the 4.40 mark of elite speed.

Listed at 6-foot-2, Bateman already had demonstrated the size, strength, and hands to be a great receiver at the next level. After being able to demonstrate he has the speed to go with those things, his stock should certainly be on the rise as a total package receiver.
