There’s still a chance Amir Coffey could be returning to Minnesota, according to a recent report from Stadium’s Jeff Goodman.

On Tuesday, Goodman reported that Coffey has not yet made a decision on whether he will keep his name in the NBA Draft or if he’ll return for his senior season at Minnesota. Goodman tweeted out that Coffey is “50-50” on his decision.

Coffey had an outstanding junior campaign with the Golden Gophers, leading the team in scoring (16.6), assists (3.2) and minutes per game (35.3). He was one of the B1G’s most dangerous scorers and dropped a season-high 32 points in a win over Purdue in March.

For the year, Coffey reached double-digit point totals in 30 games for the Gophers.

Most mock drafts don’t have Coffey going as a first-round selection, so another year in college could be beneficial for the Minnesota star. We’ll find out soon enough what his final decision will be.
