Another Minnesota player has opted to hit the transfer portal.

Ryan Burns of 247Sports is reporting that redshirt freshman Jonathan Mann is looking for a new place to continue his college football career. He spent two seasons in the Twin Cities with the Golden Gophers.

The 6-foot-3, 225-pound Minnesota native will still have all four years of eligibility to use. He did not see any game action during his time with the Gophers.

Mann was a former 3-star recruit and was listed just outside the Top 100 receivers for his cycle. In addition to Minnesota. he received Power 5 offers from Iowa, Iowa State and Arkansas.

Minnesota just concluded its spring season with the annual spring game on Saturday. The Gophers posted a 9-4 record during the 2021 season.
