Minnesota’s offense has taken another hit.

Andy Greder of the Pioneer Press reported on Saturday morning that starting receiver Daniel Jackson is out for the Week 7 matchup against Nebraska. This is in addition to the absences of running backs Mohamed Ibrahim and Trey Potts, as well as the departure of offensive lineman Curtis Dunlap, who entered the NCAA transfer portal this week.

Jackson has caught a team-best 14 passes for 155 yards and a touchdown. He has started in all 5 games for the Golden Gophers this fall.

Minnesota has been forced to play without receivers Chris Autman-Bell and Dylan Wright this season. Both targets are expected to be on the field for the offense against the Huskers.

The Gophers have won two straight against the Huskers, including victories in each of the past two seasons. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. ET in Minneapolis.
