Report: Minnesota will be missing star WR vs. Purdue
There is a B1G West showdown in West Lafayette, IN., just an hour away.
Minnesota is on the road to take on Purdue. Golden Gopher fans got some disheartening news as star receiver Dylan Wright did not make the trip.
That’s per the St. Paul Pioneer Press’ Andy Greder:
Update: #Gophers top receiver Chris Autman-Bell (ankle) is going through early pregame warmups among seven wideouts who made the trip to Purdue on Saturday. But no Dylan Wright.

Wright is a transfer from Texas A&M and did not play all of last season. Wright this season has 9 catches for 169 yards, 18.8 yards per reception and 2 touchdowns through 3 games.
According to the Gopher Radio Network, Wright is out for personal reasons. His high school teammate — and Utah football player — Aaron Lowe was killed in a shooting last week.
