Reserve Minnesota LB enters transfer portal, per report
With the regular season now over, players will be hitting the transfer portal at a good pace. Minnesota lost a defender to the portal on Sunday.
According to The Pioneer Press’s Andy Greder, linebacker DJ Gordon IV has put his name into the portal.

Gordon played in 4 games during a redshirt 2019 season. He played in all 7 of Minnesota’s games during the COVID-shortened 2020 season, recording 16 tackles, a tackle for loss, and an interception. He played in every game during the 2021 season but posted just 4 tackles as a reserve.
The 3rd-year sophomore was a 3-star linebacker from the 2019 class. He was rated as the No. 63 outside linebacker prospect in the class and the No. 823 player overall, per the 247Sports Composite.
The Florida native had offers from Florida State, Miami, and Kentucky, among others.
