Senior Bowl director impressed with Daniel Faalele's potential, sees high ceiling
Daniel Faalele appears to have a bright future in professional football. Ahead of the NFL Draft, Faalele has participated in the Senior Bowl, the top college football postseason all-star game, and earned an invitation to the NFL Scouting Combine.
This is the time of year when an NFL Draft prospect’s “stock” can change drastically as scouts and experts evaluate full seasons of film. Senior Bowl director Jim Nagy was a draft scout for 18 years. This weekend, he shared that he sees a high ceiling for Faalele based on his potential.
Once @GopherFootball OT Daniel Faalele develops consistent patience like this 👇, he’s going to be hard to beat in pass pro. @DanielFaalele_ has high-end starter traits & ceiling at RT. #TheDraftStartsInMOBILE™️#BestoftheBest https://t.co/ob8fm2msu3 pic.twitter.com/eUywmjBwnx

Whether a team will decide to draft Faalele based on potential or pro readiness remains to be seen. On USA Today’s Draft Wire, Faalele was recently mocked to the Baltimore Ravens with the No. 45 overall pick. That would certainly lead to a solid first contract for the former Minnesota Golden Gopher, but Faalele will be trying to boost his stock even higher at the Combine.
