Tanner Morgan continues impressive first half with huge TD to Rashod Bateman
Minnesota is off to a hot start against Purdue, largely thanks to the work of quarterback Tanner Morgan.
The Gophers have put up 21 points in the first half against the Boilermakers with Morgan throwing for two touchdowns before the break. The first touchdown was a long, 70-yard score to Chris Autman-Bell.

Morgan and company were not quite done in the half. He went on to connect with Rashod Batemen on another quick slant that picked up big yardage. After the throw-and-catch, Bateman was off to the races for another Minnesota touchdown.
It went 45 yards for the score:

That throw made Morgan a perfect 10-for-10 passing to start the game:
