In a pivotal game against Iowa upcoming, Minnesota will be without three key defenders on Saturday.

The team released its depth chart on Tuesday morning and linebacker Cody Poock, safety Duke McGhee and defensive end Tai’yon Devers are all listed as out for this weekend’s rivalry contest with the Hakweyes.

Poock left the Penn State game early with an apparent shoulder injury. Devers suffered a sprained ankle a few weeks ago and also missed last week’s game against the Nittany Lions.

These are big losses for the Gophers entering a big week. McGhee has tallied 20 tackles on the year to go along with a pass break-up. Devers has been the team’s leading pass-rusher, getting three sacks in his first three games. Poock has 3.5 tackles for loss.

Saturday’s game is scheduled for a noon EST kickoff at TCF Bank stadium and will air on ESPN2.
