Hosting the Nebraska Cornhuskers (4-2) in a B1G West battle at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Golden Gophers senior wide receiver Tyler Johnson put Minnesota (5-0) in scoring position early in the second half with a beautiful catch-and-run.

Our own Dustin Schutte provided video of the play on Twitter:

Shortly after Johnson’s catch, redshirt sophomore running back Mo Ibrahim punched it in from five-yards out, extending Minnesota’s lead to 21-0 with 12:50 remaining in the third quarter.

A three-star prospect in 2015, Johnson ranks the among the top-five in program history in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.

First putting himself on the national map with his 78-catch, 1,169-yard, 12-touchdown performance in 2018, Johnson is compiling his second straight season as one of the B1G’s best wide receivers for P.J. Fleck.

Now leading 28-0, Nebraska at Minnesota is late in the third quarter and airing on FS1.
