Urban Meyer talks about Minnesota rebounding from loss at Iowa: 'Shoot, I know Iowa'
Urban Meyer coached at Ohio State for a number of years and won a bunch of games. He won a national championship with the Buckeyes.
We all know that.
And, in 2017 at Iowa’s Kinnick Stadium, the Buckeyes and Meyer were supposed to go on the road and win. They didn’t. They lost 55-24. It ultimately cost them a shot at the College Football Playoff.

Meyer remember this, and was asked on BTN about how Minnesota will rebound from its loss to Iowa. He brought up the time he went to Kinnick Stadium and lost to the Hawkeyes very briefly:
"They played a good team. We all know Iowa. Shoot, I know Iowa."

As Meyer said, some saw it is a huge let-down for the Golden Gophers. He didn’t see it that way. He thought Minnesota fought hard and lost on the road to a good team.
His team back in 2017 did the same — losing to a good team on the road. Can Minnesota bounce back against Northwestern on the road? Gopher fans can only hope so.
If Minnesota wants any chance at winning the Big Ten and going to the College Football Playoff, it has to bounce back. And, it has to win out.
