Justin Juenemann hasn’t seen the field in three seasons at Minnesota. But that doesn’t mean his work doesn’t go unnoticed.

It’s not just on the field the Juenemann makes an impact. On Wednesday, P.J. Fleck brought a young man who has been a patient at Masonic Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis into a team meeting. While the boy – who is referenced as Kyle in the video – tells the Gophers about his life.

Following Kyle’s talk, Fleck asked him one question, “do you have a favorite player?”

After Juenemann’s name was mentioned as being a regular at the hospital, this happened:

That’s pretty cool.

Fleck wanted to reward Juenemann for his dedication to the Children’s Hospital and his schoolwork, despite not seeing playing time. And awarding him a scholarship for the 2017 season is a pretty great way to do that.

The fact that it was shot out of Fleck’s new T-shirt gun is pretty awesome, too.
