Homecoming games are always a special time each football season.

Players, coaches and other people that attended a university will flock back to their alma mater when it comes to the Homecoming game. For certain schools, it means more than others, but Minnesota is celebrating a special Homecoming this year.

On Saturday against Iowa, Minnesota will be hosting its 100th Homecoming game. That’s a pretty sweet accomplishment. To be around for 100 years and celebrate a Homecoming game each season just shows how rich the history is for any university.

Minnesota-Iowa is set to begin at 3:30 p.m. with the game being televised on BTN.
