The Minnesota Golden Gophers took a 13-7 lead into halftime in its season-opening game against South Dakota State.

The first half wasn’t a pretty one, but the one-handed snag by Minnesota WR Rashod Bateman was absolutely gorgeous.

To open the second half, South Dakota State got the ball and after two plays, got a first down. The third play was an incomplete pass. The fourth was complete, but to the wrong team.

Minnesota defensive back Chris Williamson intercepted the pass and proceeded to take it 43 yards to the house.

Take a look:

Thanks to the pick-six, Minnesota held a 20-7 lead. South Dakota State scored on the ensuing possession, however, making it 20-14. The game can be found on FS1.
