WATCH: Mohamed Ibrahim delivers bone-crushing hit on short gain

Minnesota is looking to keep its strong play rolling after knocking off Purdue, and running back Mohamed Ibrahim set the tone early against Northwestern.
The redshirt freshman began the season as a backup, but injuries have thrust him into plenty of action with the Golden Gophers. He has responded with 717 yards in seven games, including 155 yards against Purdue, and is no stranger to contact.
Ibrahim took a handoff on this play and went around the left side. There was just one Northwestern defender between him and the open field, and Ibrahim lowered his shoulder for the hit.
