P.J. Fleck is the king of sending messages in unique way. It hasn’t taken long for the B1G or the college football world to understand that. His “Row the Boat” saying has become one of the most popular expressions in sports.

But Fleck’s messages don’t stop at “Row the Boat.” Minnesota head coach explained something else that he does around the football complex to send a message to his team.

It involves goose decoys.

Yes, around the Gophers’ football complex, there are several fake geese that can be seen in different spots, including Fleck’s office. So why does he do that, he explains in the video:

It might seem a little strange for most guys, but for Fleck, this isn’t really all that unordinary.

We’ll see if any leaders emerge after Minnesota’s loss to Maryland as the Gophers get ready to square off against Purdue this weekend.
