Adrian Martinez can now be known as “Adrian 2,000” after a huge run against Buffalo.

In Week 2 action against the Bulls, Martinez helped get Nebraska on the board first. He set the offense up well with a huge run that went for 71 yards on the play.

Martinez was nearly wrapped up and sacked in the backfield, but he broke free and into the open field. His scramble gave him more than 90 rushing yards in the first half, and it put Martinez over 2,000 rushing yards for his Nebraska career.

Gabe Ervin Jr. would punch in a short touchdown to make it 7-0, Nebraska. So far, the Huskers have been able to add on to that total.

Martinez is up to 110 rushing yards on the afternoon, all before halftime. If the Huskers are going to finish off Week 2 with a win, he will need continue playing well in the second half.
