Adrian Martinez is at Kansas State after getting his college start at Nebraska. On Saturday, Martinez turned in the performance of his life on the road against No. 6 Oklahoma.

Facing a 3rd-and-16 and holding a lead late in the game, Martinez broke free once again against the Sooner defense. He converted on the play and would eventually punch in a game-clinching touchdown in the red zone.

After punching in the short touchdown, Martinez delivered a bow for his performance to the crowd in Norman.

While Kansas State did allow a late touchdown to Oklahoma, the Wildcats recovered the onside kick and was able to run the clock out. Martinez and Kansas State walk away with the 41-34 upset of the Sooners.

Martinez finished the game with 5 total touchdowns – a new career high – including 4 rushing touchdowns. He completed 21-of-34 passes for 234 yards and finished with 382 total yards of offense in the win.
